​What is Emotionally Focused Therapy, DBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy?​

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is an evidence-based approach designed to help couples understand and reorganize emotional responses. By focusing on patterns of interaction and underlying emotions, EFT helps partners create stronger emotional bonds and build a more secure, connected relationship.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills can also be helpful in couples work, particularly for improving emotion regulation, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. These tools can support healthier communication and help each partner better understand and express their needs.
